What The Fluff? Festival

A few weeks back I posted about the Union Square Farmers Market that’s held in our town. Well that entry attracted the attention of the organizers of Somerville’s annual Fluff Festival (also held in Union Square), and they asked if I would come and take pictures at this year’s event. I did and it was a blast! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.

This event really represents everything I love about Somerville: it’s silly and quirky but proud and full of life. It’s so nice to be part of a community that celebrates something as seemingly small as Fluff, where there is something for everyone and our community is fully represented. A lot of hard work goes into this festival every year and it shows. That’s exactly why I was thrilled to be part of the volunteers this year.
