I love me a sports and eat fest. Good friends, delicious food, and a little friendly competition. This year is especially exciting since our Patriots have a score to settle with the Giants. The competition is extra hot in our house since I am a born and bred Bostonian while my husband is a Tri-Stater; it’s Boston vs. NY all year round for us. No matter what happens though it’s football and football reigns supreme in our household. So let’s talk Superbowl Party food, shall we?
First, let’s talk party classics. Who can resist delicious Feta Guacamole or Beer and Brown Sugar Kielbasa? My personal favorite unique twists on classic party food are Lasagna Cupcakes and a Restaurant Quality Cheese Plate you can DIY.
Sometimes I like to make a more substantial dish for my guests. For that I’d recommend my Easiest and Yummiest Pasta Salad Ever or some classic Mac and Cheese.
And what would a party be without yummy desserts? My go-to are Salted Caramels, Gooballs, and classic Chewy Molasses Chocolate Chip Cookies.
One last thing – drinks! A huge stock of yummy drinks are key for any party. I prefer lots of nice craft beers in an easily accessible cooler like the one seen here (cat optional). But you could also fancy up your party with Lavender Mead Arnold Palmers or some Apple Cider Sangria.
What are you making for the Superbowl? Are you hosting a party or going somewhere? And, most important, who are you rooting for?!
Kitty!
Front and center, as usual!
Big pot of veg chili and baked corn chips! Go Pats!
Sounds delicious!
Buffalo tofu bites with vegan ranch dressing, veggies, chips, dips, a cheese plate, peanut butter and jelly cookies….and then of course, the delicious offerings of our friends. :)
LASAGNA CUPCAKES?? Who knew? They look delicious and I am bookmarking that recipe. Your party layout and the kitty look worthy of the food network! As for the game, um what game? ;) We didn’t watch it because we were at the beach but we did grill some steaks when we got home!
Awww, thanks. Give them a shot, they are so yummy.
