Have you seen that DoubleTree by Hilton revealed their official chocolate chip cookie recipe to help us quaranbakers out?! Well they did, and you know I had to try it!
DoubleTree Signature Cookie Recipe (yields 30 cookies, I mostly stuck to the recipe but riffed a little bit)
2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2.25 cups flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tap. cinnamon
1.5 cups chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts
You know how to make cookies, and these are easy as any you’ve made before:
- Cream together the butter and sugars.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, beat together until light and fluffy.
- Mix in all of the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
- The last step is to add the chocolate chips and nuts, and you’re done!
Scoop the dough out onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake on 300 degrees for 18-20 minutes, rotating your pans once at the halfway mark.
These cookies are good! There’s nothing super unique about them, which makes me think this isn’t the real Hilton recipe – or there’s something in their process that isn’t conveyed with just using the same ingredients. But hey, it gave me something to do for 30 minutes and now I have cookies. Try the recipe, and enjoy!
