Recipe: Peanut Butter and Jelly Overnight Oats

I don’t know why I’m just now getting on the overnight oats train. They are so good! Easy, quick, healthy. And you can make them in a million different ways. I opted to try a peanut butter and jelly twist on this batch and it came out really yummy.

Domestocrat’s Peanut Butter and Jelly Overnight Oats (yields one serving)
1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup almond milk (I like unsweetened vanilla but any kind of milk will do)
1 tsp. chia seeds
1 tsp. ground flax seed
1 tbsp. red raspberry jelly
1 tbsp. peanut butter

Add the oats, flax seed and chia seeds to the bottom of a 12 oz. mason jar.

Add in the yogurt…

…and then the milk.

Give the jar a quick shake. Then add in the peanut butter and jelly. And kind of either item will do (I used raspberry and crunchy peanut butter).

Put the lid on, give the jar a good shake, and store it in the fridge overnight.

The next morning you will have delicious oats! A perfectly healthy and filling breakfast.

      1. I will let you know! I love oatmeal and was just thinking about how I wish I could wake up earlier and make some before running out the door. I subbed in coconut flakes for the jelly since my pb was smooth and I wanted some texture.
