To celebrate our one year home ownership anniversary, I thought I’d share an amazing cleaning product I just discovered. When we first saw the kitchen in our house I was so thrilled about the stainless steel appliances – they are durable, look sleek, and really unify the kitchen. About a month into living with them, I started to loathe them. They were streaky, covered in fingerprints, and impossible to clean. I tried soap and water, Windex, antibacterial wipes, a damp cloth, everything I could think of but nothing could get them clean enough.

…with fingerprints all over the fridge door. Ugh.
I was at Target on Saturday and saw these stainless steel wipes. I tossed them in my cart thinking here goes nothing.
Well I gave everything a wipe down this afternoon and I have to tell you how impressed I am! The stains, watermarks, streaks, and smudges all came right out. I am still in shock.
The wipes themselves are slightly damp but not soapy. In fact, they almost feel waxy like they are coated in polish rather than cleaner. You wipe down each appliance in long strokes along the grain of the metal. After the polish dries (about 2-3 seconds) the steels becomes shiny and lustrous.
The appliances look as new as the day we moved in. Amazing! If you have stainless steel appliances I cannot recommend these wipes enough. The headache of trying to keep these suckers clean is long gone. Yippee!

For my granite counters I use a warm soapy sponge, Palmolive and water seem to be working just fine for me.
This will be my second year living away from home for college which means mom isn’t here to clean up after the mess we make! Honestly, don’t like cleaning..but these wipes are sooo great! They get rid of the fingerprints instantly..I personally hate fingerprints…literally with these wipes, they’re gone. They should create more wipes! Or like, wipes on the go?!! love love love.
