Happy Learn To Cook Week!

America’s Test Kitchen has always been the gospel around these parts. They are a real live test kitchen just outside of Boston that produce quality recipes, tutorials, an excellent TV show, and the popular magazine Cook’s Illustrated.

To kick off their newly launched online cooking school, America’s Test Kitchen is celebrating by hosting Learn to Cook Week this week. Two weeks ago I happened to stumble across a contest they are holding for Learn to Cook Week for one lucky person to win a trip to the Test Kitchen to spend the day cooking with Bridget Lancaster. I threw caution to the wind and entered the contest on a whim.

Well, I got picked as a semi-finalist! In fact, I’m Learn To Cook Finalist #3!!!

I am the third finalist (of ten) who has a chance at winning a trip to America’s Test Kitchen and a day of cooking with Bridget. As a finalist, I have already won a 60-day enrollment to the America’s Test Kitchen Cooking School.

This is beyond thrilling. I really hope I win the big prize (to be announced on May 3rd) but am so excited to be enrolling in their Cooking School this summer. I will keep you all posted and, in the mean time, keep your fingers crossed for me!

      1. I admire your cooking and recipes. I lack confidence in trying new things. Not sure why I am so timid in failing with a meal. Worst case, i pick up the phone and order pizza for dinner. So, to me, you are already a very experienced and excellent cook.
