One of John’s favorite things in the world is a peanut butter banana protein smoothie. So when he requested them last week I thought I’d do him one better – make our own peanut butter at home and use that in his smoothie!
Once you have made your peanut butter this smoothie is quick and easy to pull together.
Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie
2 tbsp. greek yogurt (the honey flavored variety for added sweetness)
1 tbsp. homemade peanut butter
1 cup soymilk
1 banana
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
First into the blender is the greek yogurt, soymilk, and protein powder. Blend for a few seconds.
Next add your banana and blend.
Finally add your peanut butter and blend.
Easy, right?
