It’s rare that I get a leisurely Saturday morning, or whole day even. But today I get one and it is much needed.
So far I’ve watered all our plants, cleaned the kitchen, hauled our old TV to Goodwill, put away all of the video games all over the house, organized our Save The Date mailing labels, made breakfast for John and I, and started a load in the dishwasher. Mundane stuff yes but it feels so nice to not be rushing around.
Later I’m going to go for a walk, to the the bank and CVS, to run some more errands, and I might go to the Cambridgeside Mall to find myself a winter coat. Then it’s back home start making food for our UFC party tonight. On the menu: truffled mac and cheese and beer and brown sugar kielbasa. Stay tuned for recipe blogs!
Also, even Reggie is having a lazy morning. He’s taken up lounging inside the coffee table in the sun:
I'm a lady who enjoys photography, football, cooking, long drives with the windows down, This American Life, kettlecorn, hot yoga, pop punk, my nephews, my cat Reggie, and my home: Boston.

Um, I hate to be the one to point this out, but that’s like a dozen things. Before 11 a.m. This word: leisurely. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I know but I exercised free will! AND I did all of that stuff leisurely!
