Welcome to the third installment of Beer In Review!
During the summer I’m always on the lookout for a beer that is on the lighter side and refreshing. I saw Kennebunkport Brewing Company’s Wheat Beer at Trader Joe’s when I was shopping for John’s birthday party.
However, there’s not much to say about this beer. It’s got a bold wheat flavor up front that quickly falls flat. The bitterness is a bit on the harsh side. It never smooths out; it just leaves a stale aftertaste. That always leaves me feeling the opposite of refreshed so this beer wasn’t my favorite.
ABV: 5.10%
