Daily Gratitude

gratitude365“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey

I have wanted to do a daily gratitude project for some time now. Studies show daily gratitude has countless benefits; it boosts happiness, increases positivity, lowers anxiety, etc.

I procrastinated because I couldn’t commit to a format – I love journaling but didn’t know if I wanted to write my daily gratitude items down, take photos of them, keep track of them daily vs. weekly, etc. I looked for a journal similar to my Five Year Memory Book but couldn’t find what I wanted. Ultimately I settled this week on the Gratitude 365 iPhone app.

Because November is Gratitude Month, I thought it was the best time to start. I’ll keep checking back here with my progress and thoughts!

  1. I’ve found Instagram to be SO good for daily gratitude. It’s made me notice the beautiful in mundane things. I didn’t think it would have that effect on me when I started using it.
