I think it’s safe to say that Spring has sprung here in Boston. The snow piles have melted, the first sprouts of green are happening all over the city, and the temperatures have been consistently over 50 for the past few days. Heck, tomorrow is supposed to be 61 and I’m going to celebrate by wearing a skirt.
Spring is more than just budding leaves and t-shirt weather though. It’s an awakening in such a literal way. We toss off our winter coats and the heaviness of them on our bodies and minds. We feel the breeze and enjoy it instead of turning away from it. We have the sun, the sky, and the ground back again. Everything seems new and hopeful. I can feel the promise it brings and it is so good.
