On Saturday a bunch of lady pals (Nicole and Dana included) and I headed to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston to see This Will Have Been: Art, Love, and Politics in the 1980s. The exhibit was…odd. I love art, even weird art, I can totally get into it – but this was beyond artistic interpretation to me. It seemed haphazardly curated and without emotion or reflection. Basically, to me, it was just a bunch of weird stuff in a room. Oh well!
The ICA is located right on the waterfront in the Seaport/Innovation District. I love this area of the city. Even in the hustle and bustle of downtown Boston, you can totally find these perfect little glimpses of New England. After the lackluster art exhibit we saw, this was definitely the best scene of the day.
