Things I Love Thursday: Packages In The Mail

I know I post every time I get a package from the King Arthur Flour Company but it really is still so exciting for me. My obsession with KAF is well documented (including a trip to their headquarters in Vermont).

I was feeling a bit crabby last Sunday so I chilled out in our office and placed a big King Arthur order. It might be weird but it made me feel infinitely better. Four days later I had a big box on my doorstep. The huge box part of the order was not lost on Reggie, he claimed that for himself immediately.

The deftly packed box contained layers of goodies. On the top was two bags of my favorite KAF flour, Sir Lancelot Flour (it’s the highest gluten flour they offer) and a new jar of Vietnamese Cinnamon. On the bottom was Bread Flour and Whole Wheat Flour.

It may seem crazy to order flour in the mail but the thing is, I can’t get most of this at a regular grocery store. The cost is worth it since I always have coupons and wait until I’m totally out of flour to place a big order.

I love King Arthur products so much. The quality is the highest I’ve been able to find, the company is incredible in every way, costs are low, and my home baking has improved vastly because of their products.

And finally, the box was claimed by its rightful owner. Until the next KAF order!

What are your must have products? Do you order them online?

  1. We picked up a couple of scone mixes when we were in Vermont and they were amazing. I had no idea you could order online. Must do so immediately! (p.s. where do you find the coupons?)
