Top 10 Songs For Doing Cardio

As I mentioned, lifting weights and doing cardio have very different playlists for me. This entry is all about my top 10 songs to do cardio to. Whether it’s running, doing the elliptical, or even going for a brisk walk these are my favorite songs to get my heart rate up to. These songs are fast, upbeat, motivating, and positive. It’s one thing to listen to a real high energy song but, for me, it also has to have lyrics that mean something too, that empower me.

Also, if you figure each song here is 3 minutes long this playlist will give you a 30 minute cardio workout. You can do 30 minutes, trust me. Lifting weights is important and all but cardio is essential and making time for 30 minutes per day is huge.

So here are my top 10 songs for doing cardio. Let’s get moving!

A Gwen classic that gets me moving every time.

Careful – Paramore (listen)
When I listen to this song I feel like I could run for hours. “You can’t be too careful anymore when all that is waiting for you won’t come any closer, you’ve got to reach a little more.”
