DIY: Making Pizza Sunday Easy As Pie

John and I have a weekly ritual we call Pizza Sunday. Behold the many iterations:

It’s exactly what it sounds like: homemade pizza every Sunday night. The pizza dough is really what makes Pizza Sunday so special – no storebought stuff here, this is my go to recipe and I’ve been using it for years.

To make life on Sundays easier I make a bunch of pre-measured dough starter bags in advance.

I mix all of my flours (King Arthur Sir Lancelot flour, King Arthur bread flour, King Arthur whole wheat flour), sugar, and salt together in 6 plastic ziplock bags. That way on Sunday all I need to do is pour the bag into my stand mixer, attach the dough hook, add the yeast, water, and olive oil, and let it rise!

So simple and easy as pie, literally!
